The People's March for Jobs, which set off from Liverpool on 1st May 1981 to highlight the plight of the unemployed. The core group of 500 was joined each day by many more, as can be seen in this picture. The march culminated in a rally and free concert in Brockwell Park, south east London Date: May 1981
