Lord Salisbury's stables in Hatfield house. Known as Robert Arthur Talbot Gascoyne Cecil. Born at Hatfield house (3 February 1830 ?? 22 August 1903), he was the British prime minister between 25 June 1895 ?? 11 July 1902. Hatfield House is a country house set in a large park, the Great Park, on the eastern side of the town of Hatfield, Hertfordshire, England. The hall of the existing portion of the ancient Hatfield palace was used as stables for the prime minister. Date: circa 1900
