Cavalry Manoeuvres, Serbo-Bulgarian War
Bulgarian forces perform cavalry manoeuvres before Prince Alexander at Mala Tirnova. We see a line of horses lying down with soldiers taking cover behind them, pointing their guns outward. The Serbo-Bulgarian War lasted two weeks from 14th - 28th November, started by Serbia in protest at the unification of Bulgaria and Eastern Rumelia, although the Serbs were decisively defeated. Date: 1885
