The building was built by Francisco Gianotti, an Italian architect in the early 1900s and originally was the Navigation Company ltalia America, later becoming the Banco di Napoli - now it houses the Banco Comafi. The architectural style features exterior Venetian Gothic decoration, reminiscent of the Doges Palace of Venice. Date: circa 1930s
