Edith Vane-Tempest-Stewart, Viscountess Castlereagh, later Marchioness of Londonderry DBE (3 December 1878 23 April 1959), noted society hostess, and, during the First World War director of the Womens Legion (originally the WVR - Womens Volunteer Reserve). Pictured wearing her famous necklace and tiara featuring some spectacular pear drop pearls. Date: 1907
