Trooping the Colour in Hyde Park. The first revival of the picturesque ceremony since 1914. The ceremony was usually held on Horse Guards Parade but it was disfigured with war huts. The hero of the occasion was Sir Douglas Haig, who had to shake hands with many of the spectators. Date: 3rd June 1919
