Plaque to Capt Clement Robertson VC, Merlijn Restaurant
The memorial, on the wall of the restaurant, was unveiled on 29 April 2019 in the presence of Lt Gen A.D. Leakey, the British Ambassador Alison Rose, family members and members of the Friends of the Tank Corps Memorial. It commemorates Gnr Allen, DCM, as well as Capt Robertson, VC.There is also a flagpole dedicated to the Tank Corps in the garden. Robertson is buried in Oxford Road CWGC cemetery and Allen is commemorated on the Louverval Memorial, Cambrai. Date: 2015
