Niepce and Daguerre exchanging ideas on photography
Joseph Niepce (1765 - 1833) and Louis Daguerre (1787 - 1851) are shown to be exchanging ideas regarding their contribution to the development of photography. Both men are considered pioneers of the photographic medium; Niepce for the creation of heliography and Daguerre for the daguerreotype. In 1829 both Niepce and Daguerre worked together in partnership to develop a permanent photographic process. They invented the physautotype and worked together up until Niepces death.
