Elegant simplicity distinguished this evening gown designed by Dolly Tree for Myrna Loy in I Love You Again (1941). It depended for its style importance on the beautiful draping of the material, with its long folds of the white crepe falling from the shoulders to the floor. Solid gold bead embroidery formed the shoulders and tiny upstanding collar. The styling was very reflective of Dolly Tree?s other creations at the time such as her gown for Rita Johnson in Congo Maisie (1940). Date: 1941
