The Grave of Jack Travers Cornwell (1900-1916) in Manor Park Cemetery, Forest Gate, London. Cornwell was posthumously awarded the Victoria Cross for his gallantry aboard HMS Chester on 31st May 1916 during the Battle of Jutland and is the third-youngest recipient of the award. The epitaph on the grave reads: " It is not wealth or ancestry but honourable conduct and a noble disposition that maketh men great." Date: 2017
