The Dolly Sisters performing their Persian Dance 1921
The Dolly Sisters, Rosie and Jenny, photographed as they perform their Persian dance at the " League of Notions" revue at the New Oxford. Both sisters wear their " dancing dresses", made up of " abbreviated and befringed trousers and tight skull-caps of gleaming silver". Despite being attractions at the New Oxford, the Dolly Sisters travelled at the end of each show to the London Pavilion in order to perform their Pony Trot in the last scene of " the Fun of the Fayre".
