After his Oran speech in the House of Commons, Prime Minister Winston Churchill(1874-1965) is cheered by his fellow MPs. After the bombing of the French Navy at Mers-el-Kebir, Churchill spoke movingly of Britains determination to fight on in the supreme hour to which she had been called. Date: 4th July 1940
