The scenes theme meant that rows of beads descended down onto the stage creating a forest of beads, with other representations of coral, jade etc. A reflection of the popularity and fashion for bead necklaces at the time. Also visible are the tasselled beads which were often seen in the sautoir style of necklace. Date: 1925
