This religious stone Memorial, which stands opposite Benouville Mairie, has the inscription PAX at the bottom and is faced with a plaque commemorating the Paras. The 7th was planned to be re-inforcement for the first arrivals, John Howards men at Pegasus Bridge, but were scattered by strong winds. However, they were rallied by the bugler who had arrived with the OC, Lt Colonel Pine-Coffin. Date: 2008
