Nancy Cunard, 1915
Nancy Cunard (1896-1965), heiress to the Cunard Line fortune enjoyed the friendship of avant-garde writers and artists, and advocated liberal social causes during the 1920-30s. Pictured in The Tatler who describes her as one of last seasons debutantes, and taking a great interest in the various concerts and matinees organised in aid of war funds, usually participating as a programme-seller.
