Emma Alice Margaret Asquith, Countess of Oxford and Asquith (nÚÑáTennant; 2 February 1864 28 July 1945), known as Margot Asquith, Anglo-Scottish socialite, author and wit. She was married to H. H. Asquith, a Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, from 1894 until his death in 1928. Pictured here with the younger of the couples two surviving children, Anthony Asquith (1902-1968), who would go on to become a leading film director. Date: 1903
