Model of the New General Hospital at Tunbridge Wells, Kent, designed by Cecil Burns, a local architect, opened in 1934. Later to be known as The Kent and Sussex Hospital, the facility closed in 2011 to be re-developed as flats (still under construction in late 2015), following the expansion and re-development of the Pembury Hospital site.
