Miss. Benett Suffragette. Miss. Sarah Benett (1850-1924) portrait. She joined the W.S.P.U, was arrested in March 1907 and imprisoned. Left to join the Womens Freedom League on its formation, supported the Tax Resistance League. Rejoined W.S.P.U and was arrested during Black Friday demonstration.
