Notre-Dame de la Garde (Our Lady of the Guard) basilica, in the French city of Marseilles. The church was built in the Neo-Byzantine style on a limestone outcrop at the highest point of Marseilles. The church is the site of an annual pilgrimage on Assumption Day, 15 August.
