Malaysia - Men of the Sakai tribe
These men of the Malaysian Northern Sakai tribe have built a scaffolding system enabling them to cut down a tall (and very wide!) tree at an easier higher level. The Northern Sakai, more commonly called Temiar, inhabit the interior tropical mountainous regions of Perak and Kelantan states in Malaysia. They are an aboriginal people (called Orang Asli) - the original inhabitants of these regions. Date: circa 1910s
