Major James Thomas Byford McCudden (1895-1918), officer and pilot in the Royal Flying Corps during the First World War. He received more medals for gallantry than any other British airman serving in the First World War, including the VC, DSO, MC and Croix de Guerre. Seen here in his aeroplane. Date: circa 1914-1918

Wood effect frame, card mounted, 10x8 archival quality photo print. Overall outside dimensions 14x12 inches (38x32cm). Environmentally and ozone friendly, 40mm wide x 15mm Polycore® moulding has the look of real wood, is durable and light and easy to hang.
