Madame Steinheil at work

Marguerite Jeanne " Meg" Japy Steinheil, Lady Abinger (1869 - 1954), French woman famous for her many love affairs with important men. She became notorious when it became known that she was present at the death of President F鬩 x Faure, who allegedly had a seizure while having sex with her. She was later suspected of the murder of her husband and stepmother. Famously acquitted after a sensational trial, she went on to write her memoirs.
