M. Moissans diamond experiments
Ferdinand Frederick Henro Moissan (1852-1907) pictured with his electric furnace. Born in Paris, Moissan was an artificial diamond maker. With his experiments, he managed to study the production of carbon in its three varieties. He was awarded the Nobel prize for chemistry in 1906
