Lord Lonsdale
Hugh Cecil Lowther, 5th Earl of Lonsdale, KG, GCVO (25 January 1857 13 April 1944) English nobleman and sportsman. An avid sports enthusiast and bon vivant, he founded the National Sporting Club and gave his name to the boxing sports brand, Lonsdale. He was also a keen racing enthusiast. Known as the Yellow Earl due to his penchant for colour. Date: 1914
