Reginald Baliol Brett, Viscount Esher (1852-1930), historian, courtier and Liberal politician. He held a number of influential posts in the diplomatic and military spheres. As Secretary of the Office of Works during 1902, he was instrumental in reviving medieval traditions for the coronation of King Edward VII. Date: 1902
