GLC-LFB - Dual purpose pump-escape fire engine
The GLC-LFB was created on 1 April 1965. A series of photos was commissioned of each type of fire engine, either within or absorbed into the enlarged London Fire Brigade. The pump escape from Streatham fire station ( K25) seen here is a Dennis-Rolls Royce petrol engine appliance. Streatham fire station closed in 1971 with the opening of the new Norbury fire station
