Letter from Buckingham Palace to artist Matania
A letter to the Italian-born artist, Fortunino Matania, dated 13 June 1919, written by Queen Marys lady-in-waiting. The Queen had bought a painting from the artist and the letter apparently accompanied a cheque for thirty guineas to pay for the picture.
