Lebanon - Mount Lebanon - Goats herded upwards
Lebanon - Mount Lebanon - Goats herded up a mountain path. The flanks of the mountain are cut away into terraces for agriculture. During the summer, sheep and goats leave the lower slopes to head up to the high plateaus. The animals find little more fresh green grass there, but it is a little cooler. (translation of the text on the card). Date: circa 1908
