Laurette Taylor and Michael

Miss Laurette Taylor (1883-1946) American actress born Loretta Helen Clooney. She appeared in one of the most popular shows of the First World War in London, Peg O My Heart, written by her husband J Hartley Manners. Pictured with Michael, one of the canine stars of the show, who according to The Tatler went missing for a while but was soon returned. Date: 1915
