Landing stores at Lundy
A small rowing boat lands stores on the beach at the Island of Lundy. Around 1645, Barbary Pirates under command of the Dutch renegade Jan Janszoon operating from the Moroccan port of SalÚá»ccupied Lundy, before he was expelled by the Penn. During this time there were reports of captured slaves being sent to Algiers and of the Islamic flag of the Ottoman Empire flying over Lundy. Date: circa 1910s
