Kismet by Edward Knoblauch. First produced at the Garrick Theatre, London on 19th April 1911. Knoblaugh wrote the play for Asche, with the understanding that Asche could revise it. He shortened and partly rewrote it and produced it with much success, playing Hajj, the leading man This image shows Oscar Asche in the leading role touring to the Empire, Finsbury Park 28th June 1915.
