Jemadar Ram Sarup Singh
Ram Sarup Singh (1912-1944), Jemadar in the 2nd Battalion, 1st Punjab Regiment in the British Indian Army. Posthumously awarded the Victoria Cross in February 1945 for courage on 25th October 1944 in Burma (now Myanmar) in World War Two.
