Also known as the White Tower, this interesting survival was built in the 13th century. It served as the minaret of the White Mosque (al-Masjid al-Abyad) erected by Caliph Suleiman in the 8th century. The Tower also has the title - The Tower of forty Martyrs, named in memory of forty companions of the Prophet Muhammad. Date: 1898
