The circular ward block for the workhouse infirmary, designed in 1889 by architect R.P. Whellock, and opened the following year at Havil Street, Camberwell - shown in a photograph in 2001. Each of its four storeys contained 24 beds radiating around a central shaft in which were located the buildings heating and ventilation services. Date: 2001
