Cynthia Mosley and children

Lady Cynthia Mosley, nee Curzon (1899-1933), second daughter of Lord Curzon who married Sir Oswald Mosley in 1920. Known as Cimmie, she became Labour MP for Stoke-on-Trent in 1929 and later followed her husband when he became leader of the National Union of Fascists (the New Party). She died in 1933 after an operation for appendicitis. Pictured with her two elder children, Vivien and Nicholas near her home of Savehay Farm, Denham, Buckinghamshire. Date: 1931

Lady Cynthia Mosley, M.P. for Stoke-on-Trent, formerly Cynthia Curzon, first wife of Sir Oswald Mosley, taking a photograph of her son Nicholas, on holiday at Cap d'Antibes on the French Riviera where, comments The Sketch, 'they have no doubt achieved a fine sunburn.' Cynthia, known as Cimmie was the second daughter of Lord Curzon. She died in 1933 after an operation for appendicitis. Mosley subsequently married Diana Mitford (Mrs Bryan Guinness) with whom he had been having an affair. Date: 1929

A commentary on a libel case between Henry Labouchere, the proprietor and editor of Truth magazine, and Edward Levy-Lawson of the Daily Telegraph. "Does Mr. Pottinger, or any other sane person, believe that Mr. Labouchere would have risked his life by fighting a duel?"
