The wedding gifts to the Princess Royal
Emerald and diamond bracelet, and opal and diamond suite, presented to the Victoria(Vicky)(1840-1901)Princess Royal, the eldest daughter of Queen Victoria, on the occasion of her marriage to Prince Frederick William of Prussia. The opals were a present from the Prince of Wales, and the emeralds from her father Albert, the Prince Consort. The gems are of unusually fine quality and size, and were manufactured by Mr. J Turner of New Bond Street. Date: 1858
