People in the cafe, several of them in wheelchairs, at the Horder Centre, founded by Mrs Cecilia Bochenek (?-1981). Despite being crippled by arthritis and confined to a wheelchair, Mrs Bochenek and her friend, Dr Joyce Peake, set up the Horder recuperative home at Crowborough in East Sussex, specifically for people with arthritis. The centre was named after Lord Horder of Ashford who became the first President. Date: circa 1960s
