H. M. S. Orion
HMS Orion, launched in August 1910 and commissioned in January 1912, the first British dreadnought to mount guns of a greater calibre than 12 inches. The Orion took part in the Battle of Jutland, 1916 and survived the Great War, eventually being broken up in 1923. Date: 1914
