HMS Audacious, British King George V-class battleship, launched 1912. She saw no action during the First World War, as she was sunk by a German mine off the northern coast of Donegal, Ireland, as seen in this photograph. The crew can be seen taking to the lifeboats. Date: 27 October 1914
