Hiroshima Castle (Carp Castle), Japan - home of the daimyo (feudal lord) of the Hiroshima han (fief). Constructed in the 1590s, but destroyed by the atomic bombing on 6th August 1945. Rebuilt in 1958, and now serving as a museum of Hiroshimas history prior to World War II. Date: circa 1910s
