God Save the King in living letters on HMS Terrible
An impressive living display formed by the crew (dressed in white) of H.M.S. Terrible in honour of the Coronation of King Edward VII in 1902. It was organised by Captain Percy Scott R.N. for display on 26 June. Unfortunately, due to the Kings illness delaying the Coronation, the feat was rather overlooked but thankfully The Graphic published this photograph as proof that it actually happened. Date: 1902
