The Gipsy Princess adapted by Arthur Miller and Arthur Stanley from the original by Leo Stein & Bela Jenbach; music Emmerich Kalman (Johann Strausstheater, Vienna, 17th November 1915). First produced Prince of Wales Theatre, London on 20th May 1921. Front page of four-page flyer touring to Theatre Royal, Nottingham, 23rd April 1922. Artist: E. P. Kinsella. The image of men in evening dress and top hats, and young women dancers in short skirts, would fit most Viennese operettas. Date: circa 1922
