Three German medallions from the First World War. At the top is a large round medallion bearing the head of Admiral Alfred von Tirpitz, German naval leader. Below is a smaller round medallion bearing the head of Kaiser Franz Josef I of Austria. At the bottom is an oval medallion bearing the heads of the satirically named Brandstifte Kollegium (Incendiary Association) of the four Allied political leaders: Delcasse (French), Grey (British), Iswolsky (Russian) and Salandra (Italian). The smaller head on the left is of King George V. (1 of 2) Date: 1914-1915

Environmentally and ozone friendly, 40mm wide x 15mm Polycore® moulding has the look of real wood, is durable and light and easy to hang. Biodegradable and made with non-chlorinated gases (no toxic fumes) it is efficient; producing 100 tons of polystyrene can save 300 tons of trees! Prints are glazed with lightweight, shatterproof, optical clarity acrylic (providing the same general protection from the environment as glass). The back is stapled hardboard with a sawtooth hanger attached.
