Stepping it out at Ciros by Mundo

An impression by Mundo of some of the well-known people to grace the dance floor at Ciro's Club, a popular and fashionable nightclub in Orange Street, London during the inter-war period. In the left foreground is actress Anna May Wong. At the xylophone is Teddy Brown. Behind him, Louis, the famous maitre d'hotel is welcoming Lord Tennyson of cricketing fame and Miss Sammut. On the left of the dance floor is the white haired Mr Frank W. Baker and the black haired Miss St. John Montague. Also included in the picture is sir Joseph Tichbourne, Lord Illingworth, Messrs, Bernstein and Jack Hulbert. In the foreground is Sir Ernest Gordon Craig dancing with his wife who wears a long, white frock while on the extreme right is witty playwright, Freddy Lonsdale. Date: 1930
