Charlemagne (742-814). King of the Franks (768-814,) the Lombards (774-814) and emperor of the Romans (800-814). : Reliquary bust. It was donated around 1349 by Charles IV and contains a piece of Charlemagne's skull. Made from silver and gold decorated with antique gems and cameos by an unknown German goldsmith. Aachen Treasury Cathedral. Germany.

Thomas George Shaughnessy, 1st Baron Shaughnessy (1853 1923), American-born Canadian railway administrator who rose from modest beginnings as a clerk and bookkeeper for the Milwaukee and St. Paul Railroad (a predecessor of the Chicago, Milwaukee, St. Paul and Pacific Railroad) to become the president of the Canadian Pacific Railway, serving in that capacity from 1899 to 1918.
