Metropolitan Police officers inside a car

Three Metropolitan Police officers inside a car. The man in the back is wearing headphones, and is making notes. By this time some cars were fitted with two-way radio transmission equipment. The morse key and receiver were fitted into the panel by the operator's side. The aerial was concealed in the roof, and consisted of strands of insulated wire. Date: 1936
