Black and white photographs titled Smart and Suitable suits for sportswomen under the headline The Humorous Side of Sport in the Tatler of 1st December 1909. The left hand picture shows two ladies wearing a tailored shooting outfit with a jacket and skirt, the right hand picture shows them wearing the same jacket but with stylish knickerbockers. The skirt is apparently discarded when the chase becomes fast and furious, leaving the ladies in the abbreviated attire shown'. Date: 1st December 1909
