King George VI & his wife Queen Elizabeth(the Queen Mother)
An early, undated photograph of a smiling King George VI (1895-1952), and his wife Queen Elizabeth(the Queen Mother)(1900-2002)at Ballater railway station, Scotland. Dressed informally, with the Queen Mother sporting a cloche hat and an off the shoulder fur stole, they are accompanied by a dog on a leash, and followed by a railway worker. Ballater was the nearest railway station to Balmoral Castle, until it was then closed by the British Railways Board in 1966, as part of the "Beeching cuts"

Lockheed C-130A-45-LM Hercules 57-0460
United States Air Force - Lockheed C-130A-45-LM Hercules 57-0460 (msn 182-3167) sold to South Vietnam. On 3 April 1975, 1st Lt Pham-Quang-Khiem and Major Nguyen Huu Canh stole this C-130 to get his family out of Vietnam, flying to Singapore. Allocated to the National Air & Space Museum and installed in the Udvar-Hazy Center of the NASM, at Chantilly, VA., by December 2005. Date: 1960s
