Sons of Henry of Prussia
Prince Waldemar (1889-1945) and Prince Sigismund (1896-1978; on the right) of Prussia in full naval uniform. The boys were the two elder sons of Prince Heinrich (Henry) of Prussia and Princess Irene of Hesse. Their father entered the developing German Navy rather than the army, and his sons seem to have followed his example. However, Waldemar, a haemophiliac, would have been unable to take part in any active service

He wrote a chronicle of Augsburg in 1457, which was printed in 1522, and a chronicle of Nuremberg, written in Latin in 1485 and printed in German as the Nrnberger Chronik in 1488
