Sir Cecil Beaton CBE (14 January 1904 18 January 1980) was an English fashion, portrait and war photographer, painter, interior designer and stage and costume designer for films and the theatre, best known for photographing icons including Marilyn Monroe, Twiggy and Audrey Hepburn.His sister Nancy (1909-99) was one of his earliest models.
